I don't see me ever changing it out of my Bertha 3-wood. I have never tried one in a driver though. I would think it would perform very nicely. Good luck. I play one in my SS3. The torque sitting at 3,5 is scaring me a little bit - I want to hit the FW and from time to time the green. I have the tendency for a high launch - V2 86g in my driver keeping me low. If that shaft is crap, what's an alternative? Head will be the Sonartec ss I'm assuming the 3.
Do not be. It is certainly considered on the lower side, even by today's standards, and plays nicely - not too boardy. You won't lose the fairway because of this shaft.
